Description
MV1924 Ammeter – this ammeter is a moving coil instrument with zero in the centre of the scale. It is used e.g. for determining the slip in slip-ring asynchronous machines. MV 1924 is connected in the rotor circuit in one of the leads between the motor and the rotor starter. By this means it is possible to determine the frequency and instantaneous value of the rotor current.
The slip can then be calculated.
